RAMAKGAHLELA MINAH MAREDI 
 ‘Ramakgahlela Minah Maredi (known as Minah), joined the Victor Khanye Local Municipality in April 2012. Minah Maredi is a knowledgeable and skilled strategic management professional with diverse experience spanning from public, private and academic sector. Offer outstanding team leadership, people management, and stakeholders relationship management skills. Exceptionally organised and disciplined , posses well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and direct others in a supportive, cooperative team –oriented environment.
A seasoned local government practitioner with experience in senior management roles stemming from working in a district municipality, specialised in Project offices establishment and its operations management oversight, Cross - Functional Team Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring, Stakeholders Relations Management (across all levels) , Conflict and Dispute Resolution and Capacity building.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Currently part-time candidate for PhD, Public Affairs studies (University of Pretoria). Graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Economics and Management (School of Public Administration and Management) at University of Pretoria and earned a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) degree specializing in Rural Development and Local Government Administration (Cum Laude Rural Development and Financial Resource Management).  Further undertook Programme in Project Management course in view of the developmental work engaged in since 2005. Has been Deputy Managing Director (for international-based company implementing donor funded projects focusing on Benchmarking municipal service in SA (including housing service delivery, public participation, Local Economic development and strengthening capacity of government in HIV and AIDs response programmes) for the past six years. In this position, has been exposed to stakeholders’ engagement at all three spheres of government. 
Prior work experience contributing to the managerial wealth of knowledge span from the exposure working as Director (Head , Office of Deputy Minister- National Department of Public Works);  Manager, Social Services in Nkangala District Municipality,  Site Facilitator for Mpumalanga Provincial Department of Health (employed by Health Systems Trust) and Deputy Director, Health Care Branch (Limpopo Department of Health & Welfare, Southern Region).

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
